When a family went to pick out a puppy, one of the pups ran out, jumped on one of the kids, ambushing him...and they decided to call him Ambush. This beautiful guy is 7 years old, well mannered, good with kids, other dogs, okay with cats. He knows several basic commands and has good house manners. He is terrified of fireworks and thunderstorms.
Read MoreIt has been extremely slow these past several months, as far as dogs coming in, so we offered to help foster a couple of young English Setters for SWESR. One of them, Izzy, went to her new home over the weekend, but we still have Garbo. Garbo is a one year old who loves running and playing with her doggy friends and then snuggling up to her humans. She is a petite girl, about 40lbs...just the right cuddle size!
Read MoreAstro is a beautiful, red. two-year-old boy. He is very silly, loves to play, but he does need some training. He will pick up some things that are not his and begin a game of catch me if you can. He is good with other dogs, but can be a humpy boy. Astro is not a dog for a first-time dog owner. We don't know much about him, but we know he was a house dog. There were some stressful issues in the home, and we think he just did not get the structure or training needed for a young dog.
Read MoreWalter is a beautiful, sweet 2-year-old Goldendoodle. He is sometimes timid when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. He is housetrained, loves playing with other dogs, and is quite affectionate. He is good with cats, but does sometimes like a game of chase!
Read MoreTilly is a 1-year-old Goldendoodle....68% Golden, 32% Standard poodle. She is one if the cutest doodles we have seen! Tilly is housetrained, loves all people, and LOVES other dogs. She walks well on leash, and loves to get out and explore. Tilly was well loved and taken care of, unfortunately sometimes things in life happen, and her owner had to rehome her.
Read MoreFanny is a, beautiful female, 4yr old English Cream. She is very sweet, but has some anxieties, and needs someone to work with her to build up her self-confidence. Fanny was not "handled" as she grew up, so she can be difficult to bathe, clip nails etc. She also needs work on leash. She is house trained, good with other dogs, loves all people. She can be a bit of a bulldozer at times!
Read MoreViolet is a beautiful red 8-year-old girl. She first came to CGRR last March, and was adopted in April. Violet had a nice quiet home, with a retired woman and they walked every day, visited Tanner Park, and she was a happy girl. But live happened and she had to return to CGRR. Violet is a very sweet girl, well mannered, good with other dogs, loves all people, and enjoys getting out for walks. She is affectionate and looking for someone to bond with.

Marley came to CGRR weighing 133lbs....biggest Golden we have ever gotten. We actually were not sure she was a full Golden - but as the weight has come off, she is definitely a beautiful Golden! She is doing great in her foster home, and even playing more with foster brother Riley! Thank you Sue, for taking her in and helping her to be the beauty we knew she could be!
Read MoreMarlow is a very sweet, soft hearted Golden girl. She is house trained, has good manners and seems to know basic commands. Marlow is another ball crazy dog, and she does not like sharing her toys with other dogs. She is good with other dogs but not really properly socialized, so she does not understand playing tug or sharing a ball.
