The number of rescues we are able to make is greatly affected by the amount of donations we receive. We would greatly appreciate any amount you are able to donate to CGRR!

CGRR is a registered non-profit organization. Donations made to CGRR are tax deductible.

Donations can be made in the form of sleeping bags, collars, leashes, blankets, etc… or you can make a cash donation (please DO NOT send cash! Checks and Money Orders are much safer.) as well as a gift of stocks, bonds or mutual funds (see below). Donations can be sent to:

Making a gift of appreciated stock, bonds, or mutual funds is great option for donating to Companion Golden Retriever Rescue.  The first step would be to provide you with the following securities transfer information:

When you make a gift to CGRR by transferring stock into our account with the help of your financial advisor, please let us know so we can identify you as the owner of the gift and ensure you receive the proper tax acknowledgement of your gift.
 
Another way to give is a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA.  Qualified charitable distributions are made directly to the eligible charity from a traditional IRA, inherited IRA for people over 70 ½ .   So, if you give annually to your favorite charities, doing so from your IRA means you do not pay tax on the amount gifted to charity from your Required Minimum Distribution in either cash or securities.
