Violet - ADOPTED

Violet is a beautiful red 8-year-old girl. She first came to CGRR last March, and was adopted in April. Violet had a nice quiet home, with a retired woman and they walked every day, visited Tanner Park, and she was a happy girl.  In September, things drastically changed. Her owner’s daughter had to move in with her 3 kids, to get away from an abusive relationship.  Things got chaotic pretty quick, and Violet kind of got lost in the shuffle.  She started getting stressed, and acting out. There was no real structure in the household, and it was a mess! Violet did a couple of weird things, like eating a sock, ate cat litter, and one day she ate a bunch of lilies. She ended up at the ER for the sock, and after that, the owner realized it would be better to bring Violet back.

We noticed that Violet did not seem like herself, and seemed like she could not get comfortable when laying down, so we took her to see an internist at MedVet

X-rays showed there was a sock in her stomach. They were able to remove the sock endoscopically, and she came through like a champ!

Violet is a very sweet girl, well mannered, good with other dogs, loves all people, and enjoys getting out for walks. She is affectionate and looking for someone to bond with. Could that be you? If you think Violet is the one you have been looking for, pls send your application to utgoldentails@cs.com
