Mia has been with Launi for a couple of weeks. She seems to be in very good health, is a good weight for her age and has no problem walking for a few miles. She loves kids of all ages. She will chase a cat, but its more of a game, than her wanting to really get the cat. She is a quiet girl, who is clean and enjoys being brushed. She does have a couple of characteristics that are common with outside dogs. She can be bossy sometimes with other dogs. She gets along fine until someone wants her toy or gets near her bed, then she lets them know she is prepared to defend "her" stuff. She is not good on a regular leash, but a gentle leader works like a charm. She is a sweet girl, who will turn 10 in October, and has a few active years left before she is ready to join the old dogs on the porch! Mia will be hanging out here for the week, while Launi is out of town, so if you think she may be the one for you, please email Deb at utgoldentails@cs.com ... See MoreSee Less

Check out the new items in the CGRR store!

We’ve added some new hooded sweatshirts to the CGRR store, just in time for fall (and maybe even some early Christmas shopping!)…

In addition, we’ve brought back our Collegiate shirts for a limited time, so be sure and grab one before they are gone!

Want to get something for the Goldens?

Sometimes Goldens can be a bit naughty,
But  mostly they are nice
Here are a few things on their wish list,
So you won’t have to think twice!

  • Grain Free Biscuits (Costco & Sam’s Club shoppers… Wet Noses & Doggie Delirious Biscuits are a favorite, and the Goldies do well on them!)
  • Large Nylabones or Galileo Bones
  • Bully Sticks
  • Virbac Dental Chews
  • Greenies Pill Pockets
  • Kong Balls or sturdy rubber balls
  • Good cuz or Bad Cuz balls (a favorite with the Goldies!)
  • Collars   16-18 inches
  • Fish Oil Capsules
  • Rimadyl or Glucosamine – for the old folks
  • Gift certificates from Redwood Veterinary
  • Gift certificate from Fosters and Smith (see our link under Support CGRR)
  • Gift certificate from The Dog’s Meow

No rawhide bones please… we cannot always be with the Goldens to supervise.
