Fanny is a, beautiful female, 4yr old English Cream. She is very sweet, but has some anxieties, and needs someone to work with her to build up her self-confidence. Fanny was not "handled" as she grew up, so she can be difficult to bathe, clip nails etc. She also needs work on leash. She is house trained, good with other dogs, loves all people. She can be a bit of a bulldozer at times!
Read MoreViolet is a beautiful red 8-year-old girl. She first came to CGRR last March, and was adopted in April. Violet had a nice quiet home, with a retired woman and they walked every day, visited Tanner Park, and she was a happy girl. But live happened and she had to return to CGRR. Violet is a very sweet girl, well mannered, good with other dogs, loves all people, and enjoys getting out for walks. She is affectionate and looking for someone to bond with.

Marley came to CGRR weighing 133lbs....biggest Golden we have ever gotten. We actually were not sure she was a full Golden - but as the weight has come off, she is definitely a beautiful Golden! She is doing great in her foster home, and even playing more with foster brother Riley! Thank you Sue, for taking her in and helping her to be the beauty we knew she could be!
Read MoreMarlow is a very sweet, soft hearted Golden girl. She is house trained, has good manners and seems to know basic commands. Marlow is another ball crazy dog, and she does not like sharing her toys with other dogs. She is good with other dogs but not really properly socialized, so she does not understand playing tug or sharing a ball.
Read MoreLucy is a beautiful Red, 4yr old Golden girl. She is well mannered, housetrained, and very sweet. Lucy is extremely ball focused, and will bark for you to throw the ball...it can be a bit much. This girl is high energy. She loves to hike and go on long walks. She does better if kept busy, and needs someone who will help her realize it is NOT always about the ball.
Read MoreThis 5yr old guy is an awesome dog! Fisher came from an owner who was allergic to him. He is part Golden and part Poodle, but he seems to have more Golden in him, and he does shed. Fisher is our social boy at CGRR, as he is great at meeting other dogs. He is housetrained, has good manners, and enjoys playing "steal the ball" from the other dogs!.
Read MoreCharlie is a very sweet boy who will turn three in October. We have to keep reminding ourselves he is only three years old, as he acts like an old soul. Charlie is pretty independent and does not really seek out attention. We noticed right away that he had an abnormal gait, so we took him to see our favorite orthopedic vet, Dr. Boekhout, and X-rays confirmed that Charlie has hip dysplasia.
Read MoreMaddox is a beautiful two-year-old English cream boy. He came to CGRR from an owner who had only had him for a week. They had hoped to get a dog that could be trained as a service dog for their daughter, But Maddox was not a good candidate. Maddox is a great dog, who just needs some stability, as well as a good routine and structure. He would do well in a home that will get him out for lots of walks and hikes and help get his self-confidence up.
